The calculation machine is universal — the same as in the three sibling bundles. This bundle’s version adds one habit distinctive to the exegetical path: every status is written together with its evidence, so the final result can be accounted for verse by verse.

Base number: the LCM of the denominators of the fixed shares present — in practice seven numbers: 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24 (plus 18/36 specific to the grandfather muqasamah system in the madzhab path). Tashih (rounding shares per head) and munasakhat (successive deaths) work exactly the same as in the sibling bundles — see al-Fawzan, chapter 07 and Ibn Uthaymin, case F.
A fully worked example — with the evidence column
A deceased man leaves behind a wife, a mother, 1 son, and 1 daughter. The net estate is Rp 480,000,000 (debt and bequest already settled).

The rupiah amounts are the same as the breakdown above (1 share = Rp 6,666,666.67; rounded in the final rupiah figure).
The habit of the evidence column feels excessive for a practice problem — but in a real family division it changes the atmosphere: everyone sees that the numbers come from the verse, not from the calculator’s preference. Disputes settle not because the numbers change, but because the source becomes visible.
Three possibilities after the fixed shares
Exactly used up → done. Residue + ‘ashabah present → residue goes to the ‘ashabah. Does not fit → ‘awl / radd / tashih — and the first two are the disputed area mapped in chapter 07.
